Alice Warnecke
Alice considers herself a poet. She uses drawing, still-life painting and brut sculpture to create compositions concerning home-space and every day objects. Physical disorientation and picking apart vision are important goals for her- they help her speak of the enjoyment she has in a direct engagement with her habitual surroundings. She is an ardent believer in the embodied aspect of vision, that we see with all our senses. Her work is an experiential immersion into her living space, physical and mental.
