Alluring Subversions is an exhibition and series of dialogues that address the ways in which 18 artists from the CCA community transform the experiences of the everyday into objects that question our reality, propose alternatives and shift our perspective. These artists are witnesses and critics of our time who address contemporary issues at the intersection of nature and culture.
Through a series of artist talks Alluring Subversions looks to breach the gap between artist and community by generating a space for dialogue. During these two nights a different group of participating artists will share their work and process, as well as explore the function of the artist within the community and in relation to the contemporary cultural discourse.
